Setting powders are essential for life, heck they are essential for existence! I’m just playing! But they are pretty important. If you use any sort of cream or liquid products as part of your makeup routine and you don’t use setting powder then girl come and see me! I just want to talk and find out if everything is ok! Why is setting powder so important? Because it sets your liquid or cream products in place. It stops the products from slipping and sliding throughout the day. You know when you first apply your makeup and your face is looking snatched, then by the end of the day your undereye concealer has somehow merged with your contour and looks a bit ‘off’, thats because you did not set your undereye concealer to keep her in check!
Here are (in my opinion!) the best setting powders on the market for medium to dark skin tones. I will not include those powders that will leave you looking casket-ready! Graveyard snatched is not a good look girl! Some of these setting powders are translucent i.e do not leave a colour, some of them do leave a little colour. Be mindful that some powders may suit caramel ladies better i.e light yellow powders, and some may suit the chocolate ladies better, but hopefully there is something for all y’all sweeties in this list!
