NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks on Dark Skin | Swatches and Reviews

‘The best NYX Lingerie lipsticks for dark skin’

NYX makeup products launched in the UK earlier this year and were only available on online. However, I received an email from Boots stating that they will start stocking them in their stores in the near future. Can I get an amen someborry???!?!!!!

I love NYX products because they are affordable and are great quality. I love the fact that they are now available in the UK. I love their liquid lipsticks especially the Lingerie range. There are 13 colours available and right now it is only available online. It can be annoying buying a colour without testing it, and finding out that it does not suit your skin tone! We all know that nude for one skin tone is not the same on another skin tone.

However after trying different colours from this Lingerie range, I have found the best colours for medium to dark skin tones. Yes, I used my own money to buy them like I usually do…so you can thank me later!

What do NYX say about these products:

‘Slip into something seductive with Lip Lingerie, our new weightless liquid lipstick with a plush matte finish. Available in a range of color-kissed nudes—from cinnamon pink and chocolate brown, to warm mahogany red and classic nude beige—each sultry shade will coat the curves of your lips with irresistibly creamy color’

I love the formula of this product, it dries matte but without the intense drying effect, your lips are still abit tacky after application. They are highly pigmented and they feel light on your lips.

The formula goes on smoothly and relatively long lasting. It does not last as long as my other liquid lipsticks such as Coloured Raine and Colourpop but they lasted for a couple of hours before I had to retouch my lips. They do not smell like vanilla cupcakes, they do smell ‘chemically’ if that makes sense, but the smell goes once you apply them, so you quickly get over it. Boots sell them for £6.50 which is great and affordable. I would definitely recommend at least one or two of these colours in your makeup collection.

(This was a little light so I used a brown lip liner. It was also patchy on application)
