My 4 Essential Skin Care Products

My 4 Essential Skin Care Products

Valderma Anti Bacterial soap.

Now sometimes, the simple products are best for your skin. My acne used to quite bad when I was growing up due to my oily skin and I tried every skincare product to sort out this problem, and they did not work for me. Best believe, having acne caused me alot of self-esteem issues. Those who have suffered or still suffer from acne know what I am talking about. I have hyper-sensitive, blemish prone skin, which is not a great combination. My mum recommended this soap to me.

When I used it over a period of time, I found that it cleared my skin, and not only that, it left my face looking fresher and brighter. No….it wasn’t a bleaching soap because I know these ‘underground’ companies use the word ‘brighter’ to describe their soaps which basically means a whole three shades lighter! As a result of using this soap, I found that I was not getting as many breakouts as before. I believe this is down to the soap being anti-bacterial. I love the fresh smell of the soap and it does not irritate my skin. My face feels soft and clean after use.

One of the greatest things about this product is the price. It is 99p and you can buy it in any hair shop around.

Sanctuary Spa – 1 minute microdermasion polish

I like to use an exfoliating mask twice a week to get rid of dead skin from my face. This is a detox mask with little exfoliating beads. This really helps even my skin tone and smoothen out my skin’s texture. I can see a difference in my skin every time I use it. My skin has a fresh, youthful glow.

The great thing about this product is that it has a warming action, which helps to open my pores. The exfoliating particles are not too harsh on my skin, and it removes the dead skin from my face.

The product has natural ingredients such as beeswax, jojoba, and wheatgerm oil whilst nourishes my skin whilst cleansing and refining it. It is also a clay mask which helps to detox my skin from all the toxins and excess oil. My skin feels as soft as a baby’s bottom after I use it.

How I use it: On damp skin, I massage the polish in small circular motions upward across my face, paying particular attention to my nose, forehead & chin. I relax while the heat draws out impurities & then I rinse away with warm water and moisturise.

Estee Lauder DayWear Oil Free Creme SPF25

I never used to use moisturisers. I used to believe that people with oily skin don’t need to moisturise. This is not true. In fact, if your skin gets dry from the lack of moisture, your skin produces more oil!

This product is fantastic. It is oil free which means that my pores do not feel clogged up. I started using this product in Spring 2015 and I love the way my skin looks and feels since using it. It has balanced my skin so my face does not produce as much oil as before. It is definitely worth the money, and a little goes a long way. I am still using my first pot since April 2015! I have eczema around my mouth and this cream does not irritate it or cause flare ups. People have been commenting about how even and smooth my skin looks since I have started using it. I will buy it again and again.

I love the cooling, and light effect it has on my face. The smell is lovely and fresh and it makes my skin feel soft and hydrated throughout the day. I wear it on it on it’s own or underneath my makeup and it does not leave me looking like an oil slick. At first when I apply it, it looks a little bit shiny but it has a matte finish after it is absorbed into my skin. I love the fact that it has SPF. This is really important to me.

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting Gel Exfoliant | POST

I have hyper-pigmentation on my face, there are areas of my face that are darker than others. I used to use makeup to cover it, but I decided that I need to deal with it once and for all.

I like to use this product as part of my night care routine. It leaves me with a clear and more radiant complexion. It does not have a SPF though which is why I use it in the night. If you want to wear it during the day, make sure you use a sunscreen. The great thing is you can get the sample sized version of this product to try it and see how your skin reacts to it.
